Your tandem jump is about 180 to 200 km / h.
Due to the high weight on a small area in the tandem pair, the final speed would be even higher. This is however on the one hand uncomfortable and secondly, an accompanying video parachute jumpers could no longer keep up. Therefore, a very small brake screen (the so-called Drog) is set shortly after the jump.
