Skydiving License & Exams
Getting your License
During your AFF training you have learnt to jump out of a plane alone, and safely open your parachute. However, after your AFF levels, you will still be in student status, jumping according to assignments given to you by your instructors.
On the way to your license, you will need to complete two jump from low altitude, and are also required to do at least 5 2-way belly or freefly coaching jumps (see: Coaching). Additionally to that, you must be able to show that you can pack a parachute by yourself, and can land close to specific targets.
Your Skydiving Exam
After finishing your training and doing at least 23 training jumps (including AFF jumps), you can take the theoretical and practical license exam.
The German skydiving license is internationally recognized and has no expiry date. However, in order to retain the license, you will need to make at least 12 jumps per year.

Once you are ready, you can take the theory exam almost at any time, right at our dropzone. It is mandatory to pass this exam in order to be eligible for the practical test. The theory exam includes 100 multiple choice questions about 7 different topics.
Exam Jumps
Your exam jumps will be one low altitude jump from 1200m and a jump from 4000m, during which you will be required to present a previously defined program. The program is designed for you to show that you are capable of jumping safely on your own.
After a few days you will get your skyding license from the German Skydiving Association.
